AVENGED SEVENFOLD Interviewed In Indiana

Tommy Carroll from South Bend, Indiana's 103.9 The Bear radio station conducted an interview with AVENGED SEVENFOLD guitarists Zacky Vengeance and Synyster Gates just before the band cancelled its February 16, 2009 show at the Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Watch the chat below.

According to a statement released by the group, AVENGED SEVENFOLD was forced to call off the Fort Wayne show because vocalist M. Shadows "came down with a vicious case of food poisoning which required him to be hospitalized. The band feels terrible they were unable to play, as they had really been looking forward to seeing their fans in Ft. Wayne. What we can tell you is that it took 3 IV bags before [M. Shadows] could leave the hospital."

AVENGED SEVENFOLD's DVD/CD package, "Live in the LBC & Diamonds in the Rough", was released on September 9. The live DVD features the band's April 10 hometown show at the Long Beach Arena headlining the Rockstar Taste of Chaos tour, while the CD contains previously unreleased b-sides that were recorded during the making of "Avenged Sevenfold", plus various covers, and other never-before-heard material. The DVD was directed by Core Entertainment's Rafa Alcantara, who also worked on the band's critically acclaimed 2007 road documentary "All Excess".
